The history of Puerto Consuelo begins in 1892…
Puerto Consuelo was the start point for the settling process in the province of Ultima Esperanza (last hope), which belong to Magallanes Region. Through the years many people had work for the progress of the province and today more than a hundred years ago the descendants of this intrepid German explorer invite you to know this part of Chile, full of history, landscapes and of course Flora and Fauna.
A few years ago we decide to open a welcoming place with view to the fiord, we called it “ “Quincho Fiordo Eberhard”, where we offer asados al palo, parriladas (grill) and also fish and sea food or just typical Chilean food as Pulmay( a mix of sea food) or Cazuela, is a typical chilean soup with meet, potatoes, carrot and pumpking. You can taste our tee time, with homemade bread, jam and cakes. |
